*GO AFTER THE  LION AND THE BEAR*

SCRIPTURE: I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the  lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it - *I Samuel 17:35*

David was keeping his father's sheep, when a Lion and a Bear attacked and took a lamb, from the sheepfold. David went after the Lion and the Bear and delivered the Lamb.

*It is interesting to know that both the Lion and Bear were after the lamb because of what it stands for.*

*A Lamb is a sheep less than 12 months old - That Lamb  was symbolic of the reward, result or Testimony of  David's Good and Diligent work as a Shepherd.*

*A Shepherd working for Months or Years without a Lamb has nothing to show for his labour.*

*May I submit to you dearly beloved, that the Lion and the Bear are after the results of your many Years of labour in career, business, marriage, even in your walk with God; desiring to end your labour in frustration, Pain, sorrow and without any Testimony.*

The Bible says: We are not ignorant of the devices of the devil - *2 Corinthians 2:11* 

*The enemy has no Problem with us labouring but will do everything to ensure we have no result, Testimony or reward.*

Ahithophel was David's Chief Counsellor who worked for him Faithfully. He later became Absalom's Counsellor. 

The Bible recorded concerning him, that the Counsel of Ahithopel in those days which he counselled was as if a man enquired of an Oracle of God; with David and Absalom - *2 Samuel 16:23*

*Unfortunately, the Lion and the Bear went after his Lamb but he could not deliver his Lamb and he ended in frustration and sorrow.*

*Consequently, as we keep tending to the sheep, it is important to go after the anti-result forces at work in our endeavours.* 

The Bible says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the Pulling down of strongholds - *2 Corinthians 10:4*

*We must Prayerfully go after every Lion and Bear desiring to destroy and deny us of the results and Testimony of our labour.*

*Prayer:* 

Father, I come against every force trying to waste my efforts in Career, Business, Marriage and Ministry in the Name of Jesus Christ.
