SCRIPTURE: That she caught him by his garment, saying, “Lie with me". But he left his garment in her hand, and fled and ran outside - *Genesis 39:12*


Joseph was in Potiphar's house, as overseer over his master's house. 


Joseph had found favour with Potiphar because Potiphar found out that the Lord was with him and his house was blessed for Joseph's sake.


Potiphar's wife cast her eyes on Joseph and enticed him to lie with her but Joseph refused. 


He answered saying: How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God? - *Genesis 39:9*


There came a day that Joseph and Potiphar's wife were alone in the house and she wanted to force Joseph to lie with her but Joseph fled. 


*The elders says: He who fights and runs away, will live to fight another day.*


Wisdom is the Principal Thing - It was Wisdom for Joseph to have fled. 


Joseph would not have been a Prime Minister in Egypt, if he has not fled from Potiphar's wife. 


*We can resist temptations but must flee fornication.*


*Many destinies have been ruined because many did not run when they were supposed to.*


Reuben was cursed and lost his Position in Destiny because he failed to flee adultery - *Genesis 49:3-4* 


Samson became an object of ridicule because he thought he could confidently handle the situation - *Judges 16*


The Bible says: Flee sexual immorality, not fight or resist  it - *1 Corinthians 16:18* 


*When it comes to fornication and adultery, fleeing is the best weapon of warfare - It is foolishness to wait and smell what you will not eat.*


*Overconfidence will fail when it comes to fornication - Whenever you can sense the appearance of it, don't wait for it to manifest, take to your heels.*


Tamar would have averted the shame that came upon her if she had run when her step-brother Amnon asked her to come and feed him in the bedroom - *2 Samuel 13:10*


*What are you looking for in the bedroom of an unmarried brother?*


*Why do you hold discussions with the opposite sex in the dark?*


*We are not wiser than the Holy Spirit that commands us to flee sexual immortality, so flee!*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please don't let me be a fool, give me Grace to flee every appearance of sexual immorality in Jesus Christ Name.
