*WHEN THINGS GO WRONG*

SCRIPTURE: Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way - *Matthew 2:12*


The story of the Wise Men that travelled from the East to Jerusalem, when Jesus was born in Bethlehem, confirms to us the limitations of Earthly Wisdom. 


They were led by the star which they saw in the East and at Jerusalem they entered into Herod's Palace, which turned out to be a great tragedy. 


Unfortunately, that singular error resulted in the death of many children and many families were thrown into mourning. 


Despite the Wisdom of Wise Men, things went wrong.


*Earthly Wisdom is not error Proof, it can lead to an uproar, things can go wrong with Earthly Wisdom.*


*We see in the text above that when things went wrong, Light shone from above and revealed unto them what they needed to do.*


In the revelation, God told them not to return to Herod but to depart another way to their Country. 


*Therefore, when things go wrong in our family or career, we need the Light of God to reveal what to do.*


*God will not come down to put it right but reveal to us what we need to do.*


*In Jeremiah 33:3,* the Lord said Call unto me and I will answer and show you great and Mighty things which you know not.


*Therefore, when things go wrong, it is not how long we spend in the Place of Prayer that matters but in addition to spending quality time in Prayer and the Word, we must be sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is revealing to us.*


*Prayer:*

Father, when things go wrong in my life, family and business. Please reveal to me what to do to put things right in Jesus Christ Name.
