*WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE?*

SCRIPTURE: Then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said: “Whoever is on the Lord ’s side; come to me!” And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to Him -*Exodus 32:26*


Moses went up the Mountain to meet with the Lord and receive the Law from Him. But while he delayed, the children of Israel went after other gods. 


Moses came back and saw the People singing and dancing before idols. 


He then asked them: 'Who Is On The Lord's side?' 


The Levites answered in the affirmative. 


*What does it mean to be on the Lord's side?*


(1) To cherish the Presence of the Lord - *Psalms 122:1, Psalms 84:10*


(2) Refusing to compromise our Faith - *Colossians 2:7*


(3) To Stand Up for the Lord while others are falling for idols - *1 Kings 18:22*


(4) To demonstrate our love by keeping His commandments - *John 14:15*


(5) Not forsaking the Assembly of Believers - *Hebrews 10:25*


*The Levites' response are symbolic of these above.* 


*What are the benefits of being on the Lord's side?*


(1) God declared them to be His - *Numbers 3:12*

- He was not ashamed to be called their God - *Hebrews 11:16*


(2) The curse Placed on them by Jacob was destroyed - *Genesis 49:5-7, Numbers 3:5-6*


(3) They became Vessels unto Honour - *Numbers 3:9*


*Prayer:* 

Father, Please help me to remain on Your side all the days of my life in Jesus Christ Name.
