*WONDERS OF THE BLESSING*

SCRIPTURE: Then Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands knowingly, for Manasseh was the firstborn. And he blessed Joseph, and said: “God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, The God who has fed me all my life long to this day - *Genesis 48:14‭-‬15*


The first thing God did to man after creation was to bless him because the blessing is important to man in becoming who God has created him to be - *Genesis 1:26-28*


*What is the blessing?*


*It is the summon of forces in Heaven and on Earth to help a man wherever he goes and in whatever he does.* *Genesis 27:26-29*


*Wonders of the Blessing*


*(1)* It activates the Potential in a man and enhances efficiency and effectiveness - *Genesis 1:26-28*


*(2)* It redefines destiny and set a man on High - *Genesis 48:18-19*


(3) It qualifies the unqualified and removes limitations and hindrances. 


Ephraim was qualified by the blessing to be above Mannaseh in spite of his Birthright as the firstborn - *Genesis 48:18-19*


(4) It resolves every conflict in your Favour without pain or injury. 


The conflict of whose head Joseph's right hand was to be laid, was resolved in favour of Ephraim - *Genesis 48:18-19*


The conflicts between Jacob and Laban, between Jacob and Esau were resolved in favour of Jacob without Pain or Injury - *Genesis 30; Genesis 32*


*(5)* It is invisible but Produces remarkably visible results - *Genesis 30:27; Proverbs  10:22*


*(6)* It makes you to Overtake and Outshine those ahead of you.


*(7)* It flows to Generations yet unborn and puts them in control of the enemies - *Genesis 22:17*


*How do we access the Wonders of the Blessing?*


*(1)* Through God - *Genesis 1:26‐28*


*(2)* Through Obedience to the Word of God - *Deuteronomy 28:1-14*


*(3)* Through the Blessings of fathers - Both Biological and Spiritual - *Genesis 48:10-19; Deuteronomy 34:9*


*(4)* Through Sacrificial Giving - *Genesis 22:15-17*


(5) Through the Cross by Redemption. 


Jacob crossed his hands in our Text - Symbolic of the Cross - *Genesis 48, Galatians 3:13-14*


*Consequently, life's Struggles end and Stressless results are evident with the Blessing.* 


*Prayer:* 

Father, Please help me to Pay the Price of qualifying for the Blessing in Jesus Christ Name.
