*YOUR DIRECTION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR LOCATION*

SCRIPTURE: “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! - *Luke 15:17*
*One of the lessons we learn from the story of the Prodigal son recorded in Luke 15:11-32, is that a man's direction in life is more important than his location.*
*And what a man is going through, is not as important as where he is heading to in life.*
The Prodigal son had wasted his Inheritance on riotous living, he had nothing again to eat, he was eating food meant for swine - this was his challenge and location.
When he came to himself, he said, he will arise and go to his father - this talks of his direction.
*The location of the Prodigal son was Horrible and Pathetic but he was heading towards his father who had many hired servants, with more than enough bread.*
Are you in a horrible location Spiritually, Physically, Financially or Maritally, Probably as a result of bad decisions made?
*Your location does not define you but, your direction does.*
*The Prodigal son was headed in the direction of his father, let us consider what happened to him:*
*(1)* His father saw him coming and ran towards him.
*Therefore, your direction determines who you meet in life.*
*James 4:8 says:* Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you.
God said: To him that cometh unto me, I will in no wise cast out. *John 6:37*
(2) His father had compassion on him.
*Therefore, your direction will determine whether you receive compassion or condemnation.*
*In Matthew 20:30-33,* two blind men reached out to Jesus and he had compassion on them.
(3) His father beautified him, put on him New Robes, a ring and shoes.
*Your direction will determine whether or not you receive beauty for ashes.*
*Isaiah 61:3 says:* The Lord will give beauty for ashes.
(4) His father made a feast.
*Your direction will determine whether you will be feasting or famishing.*
The Word says: “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price - *Isaiah 55:1*
(5) His father addressed the anger of his elder brother.
*Your direction will determine who addresses your accusers.*
*In John 8:10,* Jesus addressed the accusers of the woman caught in adultery and they left the woman alone.
*In conclusion, your direction will determine what becomes of your location.*
*Prayer:*
Father, Please lead me in the direction I should go for my location to change for the best in Jesus Christ Name.
