*ARE YOU AN EUNUCH?*

SCRIPTURE: And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an Eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship - *Acts 8:27*


Philip was led by the Lord to an Ethiopian eunuch, who had gone up to Jerusaleum to worship and was returning to Ethiopia. Philip met him riding in his chariot and reading the book of Isaiah.


The Bible tells us that the Eunuch was a man of great authority, who was in charge of the Queen's treasury. 


This means that though the Eunuch was highly resourceful, he was fruitless.


*Many of us like this eunuch are highly resourceful but lack fruits to show.*


The cause of his fruitlessness was not far fetched. 


Philip saw the Eunuch reading the Scriptures and asked him if he understood what he was reading. 


He responded, "how can I, except someone should guide me?"


He was returning from Jerusaleum, where he had gone to worship yet, he lacked the understanding of the Scriptures. 


*It is obvious that he was only Religious but lacked the knowledge of Christ.* 


Thereafter, Philip Preached Jesus to him.


*The lack of the knowledge of Christ, was the reason for his barrenness despite the great resources at his disposal.*


Jesus said, I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abides in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing - *John 15:5*


The Bible says the man whose delight is in the Law of Lord shall be like a tree Planted beside rivers of water and shall bring forth his fruit in his Season, his leaf shall not wither, whatsoever he doeth shall Prosper - *Psalms 1:2-3*


*Fruitfulness does not answer to being Religious but to the Good understanding of the Word, which is being put to Practice.*


Therefore, wisdom is the Principal thing, get wisdom, with all thy getting get understanding - *Proverbs 4:7*


*Key Point:*

The knowledge of Christ is the key to Fruitfulness in all areas of life.


*Prayer:*

Father, Please turn my barrenness into fruitfulness through the understanding of the Scriptures in Jesus Christ Name.
