*BENEFITTING FROM YOUR GIFTS*

SCRIPTURE: A man's Gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men - *Proverbs 18:16*


*Everyone is Gifted*


Jesus told a Parable of a man travelling to a far country, who delivered his goods to his servants. He gave five talents to one, two to another and one to the third servant. 


*The talents were given according to their several abilities and capacity.* 


*The lesson here is that there was none without a talent.*


We equally see in the Parable, that they did not all benefit from their Gifting. 


*Our text above says a man's Gift makes room for him.*


Therefore, it is essential to know what to do with our Gifts, so that it will make room for us in life and number us among great men.


We have a number of Bible Characters that benefitted tremendously from their Gifts; men like Joseph, Samson, Gideon and David.


*Let us therefore take a look at what to do with our Gifts:*


*(1)* Discover your Gifts.


*The first step is to discover your Gift.*


This can be discovered Personally or through others. 


*One of the Pointers to out Gift, is anything we do without stress and are Passionate about.*


*(2)* Develop your Gifts.


Two of the three servants in the Parable traded with their talents.


*(3)* Deploy our Gifts.


*Having developed our Gifts, we need to use them for the benefit of others, especially in challenging times and situations.*


Joseph deployed his Gift of interpreting dreams when he was in Prison. 

His Gift opened the Prison doors for him and brought him before the King and he remained at top for eighty years.


*Our Gifts are meant to open doors for us and lead us to the top.*


*It is therefore fatal for anyone to bury his Gifts.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to discover, develop and deploy my Gifts in Jesus Christ Name.
