*COME UP AND OUT OF  YOUR  DUNGEON (2)*

SCRIPTURE: Then the king commanded Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, saying, “Take from here thirty men with you, and lift Jeremiah the Prophet out of the dungeon before he dies” - *Jeremiah 38:10*


The three Princes wanted Jeremiah to die, but not by sword, so they won't be accused of shedding the blood of an innocent Prophet. They cast him into a dungeon so they could remotely end his life, but God disappointed them.


*Whoever wants to remotely end your life will be disappointed because the Lord disappoints the devices of the crafty so that their hands will not Perform their Enterprise* - *Job 5:12*


*There are many remote instruments the enemy can use to end a man's life.*


*(1)* The instrument of hunger.


The Syrian besieged Samaria; none went out and  none came in. 


Hence, there was great famine in the land. 


The Syrians did not touch the Samaritans but wanted to use the instrument of hunger to wipe out the Samaritans. 


The Syrians rejoiced when women began eating their children but, God shamed the Syrians. He turned their instrument of great famine into abundance of food in  Samaria - *2 kings 6:24, 2 kings 7:1*


*All those who want to use the instrument of great famine to wipe out Nigerians by hoarding food meant for the masses will be disappointed; for God will arise and turn scarcity into abundance in our land - Amen.*


*(2)* The instrument of cursing.


Balak wanted to use this instrument to wipe out the children of Israel, hence he  hired Balaam to curse them. 


But, as Balaam opened his mouth to curse the children of Israel, he was unintentionally blessing them - *Numbers 23:11-12*


Surely, there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel - *Numbers 23:23*


*Be assured that causeless curse shall not come to you and your family - Amen* - *Proverbs 26:2*


*(3)* The instrument of handing over to the enemy.


This was the instrument the men of Judah used against Samson. 


Three thousand of them tied Samson with a new cord and handed him over to the Philistines. 


But, God intervened and His Spirit came Mightily upon Samson and he slew a thousand of the Philistines with a jaw bone of an ass - *Judges 15:11-15*

 

*Whoever wants to hand over our children to their enemies shall be disappointed - Amen.*


*Prayer:* 

Father, everyone in open or in secret, engaging a remote instrument of death against me and my family, Please arise and give him an open shame in Jesus Christ Name.
