*COVENANT WITH OUR EYES*

SCRIPTURE: I made a Covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?- *Job 31:1*


The Lord testified concerning Job that he was Perfect and Upright. 


*Our Text Provides one reason why he was able to live a Perfect and an Upright life - He made a Covenant with his eyes.*


*A covenant with one's eyes, will make the Meditation of the heart acceptable to God because the eye is a very Powerful Gate to the heart.*


*Whatever is captured by the eyes will be registered in the heart.* 


*Righteous Living  therefore requires that we jealously guide our eyes on what to look upon.*


*Unguided eyes will bring great trouble to the Soul.*


Samson's greatest challenge was that he was not in control of his eyes. Everywhere he went, his eyes would stray upon strange women.


The Bible says Samson went down to Timnath and saw a woman of the daughters of the Philistines - *Judges 14:1*


The Bible also says Samson went to Gaza and saw a harlot and went into her - *Judges 16:1*


*From these Scriptures, it is obvious that Samson had unguided eyes; he never made any Covenant with his eyes.*


*Uncovenanted eyes are the reason men and women are addicted to Pornography and indecent films.*


*God gave us the Power to close and open our eyes so as to be in control of them.*


*Key Note:* 

Uncovenanted eyes will bring great trouble to the soul.


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to continually guide my eyes so as not to ruin my Spiritual Life in Jesus Christ Name.
