*IRON SHARPENS IRON*

SCRIPTURE: Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend - *Proverbs 27:17*


*David decided to be friends with Jonathan and this was a wise decision.*


He was already anointed among his brothers and it must have dawned on him that he was destined for the Throne. 


He had spent Major Parts of his life in the bush as a Shepherd boy, not familiar with the Palace Protocols but, his friendship with Jonathan, gave him an edge.


*As Destiny driven men and women, we also ought to display the same Wisdom in our choice of friends.*


God saw that it was not Good for man to be alone and He said: 'I will make an Help Meet, suitable for him" - *Genesis 2:18*


*Wisdom therefore demands that everyone of our friends should be a "Suitable Help" for us, in our Journey of Destiny.*


*We must also borrow a leaf from David in seeking for Knowledge in every steps we desire to take in life - Lack of knowledge is destructive.*


*There is no Self-Made Man.*


*Our Text says: As iron sharpens iron, a man sharpens the countenance of his friends.*


*Our risk of failure will be low if we seek for Counsel amongst the right People in any of our future endeavours.*


The Bible says: Where there is no Counsel, the People fall, but in the multitude of Counsellors there is safety - *Proverbs 11:14*


*The Good Question we should ask ourselves is: How Valuable are my friends to where I am heading to in life and how Valuable am I to the People who call me friends.*


*Key Note:*

Our risk of failure will be low if we seek the Counsel of the right People.


*Prayer:*

Father, help me to choose my friends wisely so that I will not miss Your Plan for my life in Jesus Christ Name.
