*THE BLESSEDNESS OF DIVINE FORGIVENESS*

SCRIPTURE: Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered - *Romans 4:7*


The Lord is long suffering and of great Mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgressions and by no means clearing the guilty - *Numbers 14:18a*


*God is rich in Mercy, forgiving iniquities, transgressions and sin.* 


*Those who are forgiven by the Lord, are truly blessed.*


*The blessings include:*


*(1)* Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross, will not be in vain in their lives. 


His Blood shed on the Cross, cleanses from all sins. 


*Divine forgiveness makes effective the Cleansing Power in the Blood of Jesus.*


*(2)* Sin is blotted out and no more remembered. *Isaiah 43:25*


And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more - *Jeremiah 31:34*


*Therefore, one can confidently say I have wronged no man* - *2 Corinthians 7:2*

 

*(3)* Righteousness without works is imputed by God. *Romans 4:6, 2 Corinthians 5:21*


Therefore, we become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.


*(4)* We are reconciled unto God and His righteousness in us, gives us unfettered access to Him - *Colossians 1:21*


Therefore, we can boldly access the Throne of Grace - *Hebrews 4:16*


*(5)* We become adopted children of God - *Romans 8:15*


*(6)* We become Heirs of God and Joint-Heirs with Christ - *Romans 8:17*


*(7)* Eternal life becomes our Heritage - *Romans 6:23*


*How to enjoy divine forgiveness?*


*(1)* By confessing and forsaking our sins - *Proverbs 28:13*


*(2)* By sowing forgiveness - Forgiving those who have offended us. *Mark. 11:25*


*Prayer:*

Father, give me Grace to forgive those who offend me, even as You forgive me all my sins and trespasses in Jesus Christ Name.
