*GOOD NAMES BUT EVIL EXPERIENCES*

SCRIPTURE: So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem) - *Genesis 35:19* 


It is the Joy of every Parent to give their children Good names. 


Consequently, most people have very Good names. 


*Hardly will you find anyone bearing the names Judas Iscariot or Lucifer because of the Pedigree of the original bearers.*


Rachel was to name her last born Benoni meaning son of sorrow but, her husband Jacob seriously objected and renamed him Benjamin; the son of my right hand.


*It is note worthy that a Good name is not an antidote to evil experiences.*


Jacob fled the house of Laban his father-in-law, with all his Possessions and in the company of his wives. They came to Bethlehem Ephrath and Rachel fell into a hard labour, delivered her son but she died. 


Bethlehem means a house of bread while Ephrath means fruitfulness and it is believed that Bethlehem Ephrath would be a place of blessing, a place of comfort but to Jacob it was a Place of Painful loss, a Place of agony, a Place of mourning. 


Similarly, Elimelech and his family ran away from Bethlehem to Moab  because of serious famine. The house of bread suffered scarcity and lack - *Ruth 1:1-2* 


*When Good names are experiencing evil occurrences, divine visitation is required.*


Samuel the Prophet, God's representative showed up in Bethlehem and Bethlehem's story changed. 


From that day, she became the Place of anointing, a Place of discovering destiny - *1 Samuel 16:2-13* 


Thereafter, the Saviour of Mankind came out of Bethlehem - *Luke 2:4-7*


*Are your experiences in life contrary to the Good name you bear? Is your name success yet, the challenges of life have constantly caused you to  fail? The tide will turn for your Good, just cry out to God for a Divine Visitation.*


*Prayer:*

Father, let the Good Prophecies in my name be fulfilled to the fullest in Jesus Christ Name.
