         *HE CAME TO SOW*

SCRIPTURE: Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap - *Galatians 6:7*


*In Matthew 13:3-9,* Jesus taught a Parable about a Sower and looking at this Parable and the reason God became man, one can say convincingly that He came to sow.


1. First, He sowed love. 


The Bible says God commended his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us - *Romans 5:8*


While we were unlovable, He loved us. Love seeks not her own - *1 Corinthians 13:5*


The seed of love He sowed has grown. 


Today, in the hearts of men, the love of God has replaced lust.


Peter said we will rather obey God than men.


2. Secondly, He sowed His reputation.


The Bible says Who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God. But made Himself of no reputation, took the form of a servant - *Philippians 2:6-7*


Today, a PhD holder Prefers to be addressed as a brother, emulating Christ's Humility.


Paul said what things that were gain to me I counted loss for Christ - *Philippians 3:7*


3. Thirdly, He sowed His life.


The Bible says He laid down His life for us - *1 John 3:16*


Today, many are Prepared to lay down their lives for the sake of the Gospel.


A Prophet Prophesied that Paul would be bound in Jerusaleum. 


The Brethren therefore besought Paul even with weeping not to go to Jerusaleum. But, Paul answered and said I am not only ready to be bound but also to die for the Name of the Lord - *Acts 21:11-13*


Stephen was stoned to death for Preaching the Gospel. 


*Consequently, as we celebrate this Season, let us have the understanding that it is a Season to sow seeds that will enlarge the Kingdom of God on Earth.*


*What Jesus sowed, He reaped as our anchor text teaches; whatever a man sows he reaps.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to sow for the furtherance of Your Kingdom on Earth in Jesus Christ Name.
