*POWER UNDER CONTROL*

SCRIPTURE: Or do you think that I cannot now Pray to My Father, and He will Provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? -*Matthew 26:53*


A great multitude with swords and clubs from the Chief Priests and the elders of the people, came to arrest Jesus. 


In resisting His arrest, one of Jesus' Disciples brought out a sword and cut off the ear of a servant of the High Priest.


Jesus turned to His Disciple and rebuked Him saying anyone who lives by the sword will Perish by the sword. 


Jesus went further to say if He wanted, He could Pray the Father to give Him more than twelve legions of Angels.


Jesus had the Power to arrest all His arresters by asking the Father to send enough Angels to do so but, He did not. 


This is an exemplary expression of Power under control. 


He is the All-Powerful God yet, He put His Power under control. 


This is meekness at work and not weakness.


*How wonderful it is to put our Power under control!* 


*It opens the door of Divine Favour to the fulfillment of our Destiny.* 


*Jesus fulfilled His Destiny by His ability to put His Power under control.*


He said how then shall the Scripture be fulfilled? - *Matthew 26:54*

*Unfortunately, many are using the Power given to them to destroy their destinies; using such Power to do unlawful and outrageous things.*


King Ahab used his Power to murder Naboth and stole his vineyard because Naboth refused to sell his vineyard - *1 kings 21*


In contrast, Joseph put his Power under control. 


He refused to avenge the evils done by his brothers. He chose to Preserve their Posterity in the Earth - *Genesis 45:5-7*


*The choices made from a Position of Power, is the True Test of a man's integrity.*


*The weak and corrupt will be exposed by Power, while the meek will equally be revealed by Power.*


*Power can either open or close the door of the fulfilment of destiny depending on whether or not it is put under control.* 


*Is your Power at home as a father or mother, or at work as a boss, or in your Nation as leader under control?*


*Prayer:*

Father, please give me grace to put my power under control that I may reach my goal in life and destiny in Jesus Christ Name.
