SEED OF TRANSFORMATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL
*TAKE ANOTHER LOOK*
*Text: Zechariah 1:18-21*
*By Pastor E O Gabriel 09 May 2025: Share*
SCRIPTURE: Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. And I said, “What are these coming to do?” So he said, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one could lift up his head; but the craftsmen are coming to terrify them, to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it” - *Zechariah 1:20-21*
There is always a way out, when you stand facing a challenging situation; be Patient and take another look and you will find the way out.
In our text, Zechariah saw four horns which were responsible for the crisis of Judah, Israel and Jerusalem but he took another look and saw four carpenters raised to terrify the four horns which he had earlier seen.
Moses and the children of Israel came to Marah and saw bitter water.
The children of Israel were murmuring but Moses took another look and saw a tree which was the solution to the bitter water.
*If you come across a challenging situation, be careful of your response so that your attitude will not deny you of the blessing of another look.*
*The solution to the challenging situation is in taking another look and receiving insight to the solution.*
Therefore be still, refuse to complain and murmur.
Replace anxiety and worry with worship.
Running up and down will distract your attention and deviate your focused.
Moses was busy Praying when the second look happened.
Zechariah was waiting on the Lord when the second look happened - *Zechariah 1:20*
Both Moses and Zechariah had a relationship with God and were obedient to Him.
*Therefore, the second look is strictly for those who are in a relationship with God and living an obedient life* - *Isaiah 1:18*
*The revelation or insight that comes from a second look, can only be given by the Spirit of God.*
But there is a Spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding - *Job 32:8*
*Prayer:*
Father, I receive Grace to be still in the face of challenges and to look again in Jesus Christ Name.
