*THE BLESSINGS OF THE RED SEA*

The eyes of your Understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the Hope of His Calling, and what the riches of the Glory of His Inheritance in the Saints - *Ephesians 1:18*


When the children of Israel came out of Egypt, they

wept bitterly and asked Moses if there were no graves in Egypt, that he brought them into the wilderness to die - *Exodus 14:11*


The reason for their weeping, was that they were being Pursued by the Egyptian Army and the Red Sea was ahead of them. 


They thought they were  between two devils but unknown to them, the Red Sea was a blessing.


*Let's consider the Blessings of the Red Sea:*


*(1)* The Age-long hold of the Egyptians over Israel, ended at the Red Sea.


The dominion of the Egyptians over the children of Israel ended at the Red Sea.


The wickedness of the wicked ended at the Red Sea - *Psalms 7:9*


*(2)* The Red Sea ended the fearful Pursuit of Israel by the Egyptians.


Without the Red Sea, the evil Pursuit of the children of Israel would have continued unabated.


*(3)* The Red Sea Perished the hope of the Egyptians over Israel.


The hope of the wicked over Israel Perished at the Red Sea - *Proverbs 11:7*


*(4)* The Red Sea put a Permanent separation between Israel and Egypt (her enemy) -  *Exodus 14:13*


*(5)* The Red Sea caused the children of Israel to sing for Joy for the first time in four hundred and thirty years -  *Exodus 15:1*


*It is obvious that the Red Sea that the children of Israel wept about was actually was a blessing in disguise.* 


In our Anchor Text above, Paul Prayed that the eyes of our Understanding be enlightened that we may have Knowledge. 


*Prayer:*

Father, Please let my eyes of Understanding be enlightened that I may know the Blessings of my Red Sea in Jesus Christ Name.
