*THE RIGHT FOCUS: KEY TO SUDDEN TURN AROUND*

SCRIPTURE: They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed -*Psalms 34:5*


In our moments of crisis, the right focus is the key that opens the door of sudden turn arounds. 


God commanded Moses to make a serpent of brass and put it on a Pole while the children of Israel were in the wilderness and whosoever was bitten by a serpent and shifted his focus to the serpent of brass lived - *Num. 21:9*


*This brass serpent was Symbolic of Christ on the Cross, as it is in the New Testament.*


*This is teaching us to look unto Jesus the Author and the Finisher of our Faith.*


*Therefore, a sudden turn around is experienced by anyone in crisis who shifts his focus away from the Pain of the moment and focuses on Christ and His commandments.*


While Job was experiencing the challenges of life, his situation never changed while he ruminated on the effect of the challenges on him. 


But, his turn around came suddenly when he Prayed for his friends - *Job 42:10*


In Praying for his friends, he  shifted his focus from self to the commandment of God.


Similarly, the widow of Zarephath ignored her Need and went ahead to meet the Need of God's Prophet. 


This right focus turned her situation around for Good. 


The Bible says the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail according to the Word of the Lord, which He spoke by Elijah - *1 Kings 17:16*


*In challenging situations, we either develop wings and fly or walk with crutches.* 


Our choice will depend on whether our focus is right or wrong. 


The right focus is essentially towards Christ and His commandments. 


*Our text above says they looked unto Him and were not ashamed.*


*Prayer:* 

Father, Please give me Grace to shift my focus from my Pain unto You in every challenging moment of my life in Jesus Christ Name.
