*A BEWITCHED CITY: SAMARIA*

SCRIPTURE: But there was a certain Man called Simon, who Previously Practiced Sorcerer in the City and astonished the People of Samaria, claiming that he was someone Great - *Acts 8:9*


Simon the Sorcerer bewitched the City of Samaria, and when a City is bewitched, families and individuals in the City become affected. 

Everyone in the City is charmed and under a spell.


*Signs of a Person is Bewitched:*


*(1)* Foolish behaviour - *Galatians 3:1*


Behaving contrary to common sense.


Samuel said to Saul you have done foolishly - *1 Samuel 13:13*


*(2)* Unwillingness to obey the Truth - *Galatians 3:1*


*(3)* Gross darkness - *Isaiah 60:2*


A Person bewitched lives a life without form and void -  *Genesis 1:2*


And this is evidenced by the Prevalence of Unclean Spirits, deformities, sicknesses and the likes - *Acts 8:7*


*(4)* Heart waxes cold; ears become dull of hearing and eyes are without Perception - *Matthew 13:15*


The bewitched will not listen to any Good Advice, his heart is made stony.


*(5)* Gloominess. 


Until Philip came to the City, there was no Joy, no excitement - *Acts 8:8*


One man, Simon the Sorcerer, Possessed by the devil bewitched the City. And one man, Philip the Evangelist, Possessed by the Holy Spirit brought an end to the bewitchment of the City. Simon the Sorcerer was retired compulsorily by the Holy Ghost - *Acts 8:5-8*


*May the Lord retire compulsorily every Sorcerer  bewitching  your City and your family.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please by Your Mercy raise for me the Man that will bring an end to the bewitchment of my City and my family in Jesus Christ Name.
