BE GODLY AND CONTENT*

SCRIPTURE: she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I Praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing - *Genesis 29:35*


*The Greatest Lesson we can learn from the Life of Leah is that Godliness with Contentment is Great Gain* - *1 Timothy 6:6*


She was not loved by her husband by no fault of hers, she felt empty, troubled and discontent. She made several efforts to Please her husband, but to no avail. This was evidenced by the names she gave to her sons.


*When all efforts Proved abortive, she switched over to Pleasing and Praising God.*


In our Text above, the moment she gave birth to Judah (Praise ), she stopped bearing. She became content when she switched over to Praising God. 


*The result was that she became the Great Grand mother of our Lord Jesus Christ - Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah* - *Revelations 5:5*


*It is interesting to know that her sister Rachel, loved by her husband, had no link with our  Lord Jesus Christ - The only king that came from her, King Saul, misbehaved and was rejected by God* - *1 King 15:26*


*Whatever situation comes our way, we should  understand that Grass is not Greener elsewhere, we need to be Godly and content; the Outcome will be beyond our Imaginations.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to be Godly and Content all the days of my Life in Jesus Christ Name.
