         *CHASE YOUR LION*

SCRIPTURE: The lazy man says: “There is a lion outside! I shall be slain in the streets!” - *Proverbs 22:13*


Whoever is looking for excuses will always find one. 


Our Bible Text says the slothful man or the lazy man says there is a lion in the way and I shall be slain. 


What an excuse!


Even before he goes out, he has imagined that he would be slain. 


*Many are held down in Life by Imaginary Problems.*


*The word Imaginary is from the word Image - This means that many form images in the Mind as to why things will not work, why they can't succeed, why their situations can't change.*


The Bible says the weapons of our warfare are not Carnal but Mighty through God to the Pulling down of Strong Holds. Casting down imaginations and every High thing that exalteth itself against the Knowledge of God and bringing into Captivity every thought to the Obedience of Christ - *2 Corinthians 10:4-5*


Images of failure, defeat, Poverty, barrenness, sickness, and death already formed in our Minds must be cast down, by chasing our lions through the weapons of our warfare.


David said he was keeping his father's sheep and the lion came and he went after him and smote him - *1 Samuel 17:34-35*

 

Benaiah also slew a lion in the Pit - *2 Samuel 20:23*


*Lions chase ordinary men, but men who are hid in the Lion of the Tribe of Judah chase lions.*


*Therefore, chase your lion, cast down your Imaginations and enter into your Promised Land.*


*Prayer:* 

Father, Please empower me to chase my lion, overcome my fears and enter into my Promised Land in Jesus Christ Name.
