*QUIT YOUR "PITY PARTY"*

SCRIPTURE: And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I Praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing - *Genesis 29:35*


Leah was Jacob's wife by force and not by Choice. Her father Laban, decieved Jacob into marrying her. 


She was therefore, not loved by Jacob.


When she had her first son, she named him Reuben, saying the Lord has looked on my affliction and my husband will love me - *Genesis 29:32*


She conceived the second time and gave birth to a son and named him Simeon meaning, the Lord has heard that I was hated - *Genesis 32:33*


She conceived the third time, and bore a son and named him Levi, meaning now my husband will be joined to me - *Genesis 29:34*


She conceived the fourth time, gave birth to a son and named him Judah, meaning now will I Praise the Lord. Thereafter, she stopped bearing - *Genesis 29:35*


*The names of her first three sons indicated that Leah was in a "Pity Party" being haunted by the unpleasant situation she had found herself in.*


*After her third son, she decided to quit the "Pity Party" and said to herself whether I am loved or not, whether my husband is joined to me or not, I will Praise the Lord.*


*It is interesting to know that it was when she quit the "Pity Party" that she gave birth to a son whose Lineage Produced Kings in Israel - David was of the Tribe of Judah and even our Lord Jesus Christ is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah* - *1 Samuel 17:12; Revelation 5:5*


*When a man quits his "Pity Party", he becomes a Progenitor of Leaders.*


In addition, of all Leah's sons, it was only Judah that was not cursed by their father. 


*Praising God, instead of throwing a "Pity Party", distances you from curses and makes you a Carrier of the Blessing.* - *Genesis 49:1-12*


*When Leah gave birth to Judah, she stopped bearing. Praising the Lord, instead of Magnifying our situations, is the Ultimate in life, it is highly satisfying.*


The Prophet told David to depart from the hold and get into the Land of Judah - *1 Samuel 22:5*


*Life may not seems to be fair to you and your family, quit the "Pity Party" and get over to the Land of Praise - A Living dog is better than a dead Lion.*


*Prayer:* 

Father, Please give me the Grace to Praise you all the days of my Life in Jesus Christ Name.
