*DANGERS OF BUILDING ON SAND*

SCRIPTURE: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it - *Matthew 7:27*

*According to our Lord Jesus Christ, every house built on sand by a foolish man, will not withstand the effect of rain, floods and winds.*

*What does it means to build upon the sand?*

*(1)* It is building without Jesus as the Foundation.

*When a relationship is built on the love of money, such relationship is built on sand.*

*(2)* When the house is built contrary to the Word.

*(3)* When the house is built on Falsehood, lies and deceit. 

Gehazi built his Ministry on falsehood, he built it on  sand - *2 Kings 5:25-27*

*What are the dangers inherent in building on sand?*

*(1)* A great fall.

Whatever that is built on sand, will experience a great fall.

*The Ministry that Judas Iscariot built three and a half years crumbled before his very eyes.*

*(2)* A great loss.

When the house falls, the builder suffers a great loss.

*(3)* Sorrows and Pains.

Whenever a man suffers loss, he will be overwhelmed with sorrows and Pains - *Job 21:17*

*(4)* Untimely death.

The sorrows and Pains of loss, may drive a man into Untimely death.

Judas Iscariot died untimely by committing suicide because of the sorrow and Pain of lossing a relationship - *Matthew 27:5*

*(5)* Eternity in hell.

The most dangerous aspect of building contrary to the Word is ending the journey of Life in Hell - *Revelation 21:8*

*Prayer:*

Father, Please keep me from experiencing a great loss, help me not to build on sand in Jesus Christ Name.
