*HE IS THE LORD OF HOSTS*

SCRIPTURE: Who is this King of Glory? The LORD of Hosts, He is the King of Glory. Selah -

*Psalms 24:10*

*One of the Names of our God, is the Lord of Hosts. This means He is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Heaven, the Earth and of Hell.*

*Both the Forces  of Good and evil are subject to Him.*

This is evident in His conversation with Satan on the Uprightness and the Integrity of Job. 

Satan could not move close to what Job had, until God gave him Permission. 

And the Lord set a Limit for Satan on how far he could go. This is why despite the attacks of Satan on Job, he couldn't take his life because he was not Permitted to do so - *Job 1:8-12*

In addition, God said that Locusts, Cankerworms,  Caterpillar, and the Palmerworm are His Great Army - *Joel 2:25*

The forces of evil are His Army and they never operate without His Permission. He is Lord over them all.

The Bible says, as the children went from one Nation to another, from one Kingdom to another People. He suffered no Man to do them any wrong - *Psalms 105:13-14a*

*He suffered no one means He Permitted no one to do them any wrong.*

*Therefore, there are many implications of God being the Lord of Hosts:*

*(1)* He is in absolute Control of what goes on in Heaven, on Earth and even in Hell.

*(2)* He knows all about our Troubles.

He said about the children of Israel in Egypt, for I know their sorrows - *Exodus 3:7*

*(3)* He can deliver anyone from his Troubles - *Exodus 3:8*

*(4)* Whenever He decides to act, no one can stop Him. 

The Bible says, no one can stay His Hand or say unto Him, what doest thou? - *Daniel 4:35*

*(5) )* Whenever He decides to bless, meaning to release the forces of Good, no one can reverse it. 

Balaam told Balak, the Lord has blessed the children of Israel and I cannot reverse it - *Numbers 23:20*

*From the above, it is Good News to all those who are on the side of the Lord, that He is the Lord of Hosts, no one can reverse your Blessings.*

*Prayer:* 

Father, Please command the forces of evil around me and my family to cease in Jesus Christ Name.
