*HE LEFT FOR A SEASON*

 SCRIPTURE: And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a Season - *Luke 4:13*

*Whenever we rebuke the devil and command him to  get behind us, he leaves but for a Season. He doesn't leave Permanently.*

Satan came to tempt Jesus at the beginning of His Ministry, He rebuked him and commanded him to get behind Him. The Bible says, he departed from Him for a Season. He returned through Peter when Jesus was teaching His Disciples what he would suffer, and how he would be rejected and killed - *Mark 8:31-33*

*Since Satan left Jesus for a Season, he would not leave anyone who is still alive Permanently.*

*Therefore, it is dangerous to live our lives as though the devil has gone to sleep.* 

The Bible says, when an Unclean Spirit is gone out of a Man, he walks through dry Places seeking rest, and finds none. He says I will return to my house from whence I came out. When He comes and finds it empty, he takes other seven Spirits more wicked than him and return - *Matthew 12: 43-45*

In the light of the above, every living Believers must Watch and Pray. And hold fast the form of Sound Words, which we have heard in Faith till Jesus comes in Glory - *2 Timothy  1:13, Revelation 2:25*

*Prayer:*

Father, I receive Grace to Watch and Pray, so that I will overcome all the devices of the enemy in Jesus Christ Name.
