*HE MAGNIFIED HIS WORD ABOVE HIS NAME*

SCRIPTURE: I will worship toward thy Holy Temple, and Praise thy Name for thy Lovingkindness and for thy Truth: For thou hast Magnified thy Word above all thy Name - *Psalms 138:2*

*Our God has several Names, each of them is Awesome and Purposeful.*

For instance, Lazarus was dead four days, buried and stinking. He introduced Himself as the Resurrection and the Life. Before He left the house, the dead Man came back to Life - *John 11:25*

He introduced Himself to Moses and the children as, I AM That I Am - *Exodus 3:14*

*This means:*

*(1)* I am who I am

*(2)* I will become who I choose to become.

*(3)* I am what I am

*(4)* I will be what I will be

*(5)* I am Eternal and Unchanging. 

*This teaches us that each Name of God is weighty.*

This informs why Apostle Paul wrote that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in Earth, and things under the Earth - *Philippians 2:10*

*Our Anchor Text above tells us that as Awesome and Purposeful as His Name is, He has Magnified His Word above His Name.* 

*This has a lot of implications. Some of which are:*

*(1)* His Word is Supreme, above all - *John 1:1-3*

*(2)* Visions, Dreams and Voices that contradict His Word are not of Him.

*(3)* Whoever comes in His Name, working against the Word is not of Him - *Acts 19:13-15*

*(4)* Any revealed Name of God that contradicts His Word is not of Him.

*(5)* His Word is Unchanging - *Isaiah 40:8*

*If God has Magnified His Word above all His Name, to truly belong to Him, we must Place His Word above all things in Heaven, on Earth and under the Earth.*

*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to Magnify Your Word above all things in Jesus Christ Name.
