   *REASONS FOR LOSSES*

SCRIPTURE: Either what woman having ten Pieces of Silver, if she lose one Piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? - *Luke 15:8*

*It is not the Will of God for us to suffer losses.*

Jesus said to one of the Seven Churches in Asia, "But that which you have already hold fast till I come - *Revelation 2:25*

*There are several reasons a Man can suffer a loss. Some of them are:*

*(1)* Disobedience 

Adam and suffered losses for their disobedience - *Genesis 3:1-19*

*(2)* Pride 

King Nebuchadnezzar suffered losses through Pride - *Daniel 4:30-31*

*(3)* Carelessness or Negligence.

Eli was very careless and negligent concerning his duty to his children and his family gave birth to Icabod. 

*Icabod means the Glory is departed or lost* -  *I Samuel 4:21*

*(4)* Lack of Knowledge. 

In the Parable of the Talents, the one with one Talent thought you maintain your Talent by hiding - *Matthew 25:14-28*

*(5)* Fear 

Job, an Upright Man,  suffered Financial losses - Loss of Investment, loss of Children and loss of Health through Fear - *Job 3:25*

*(6)* Forces of Darkness 

The Midianites encamped against Israel to destroy their Increase of the Earth and they greatly impoverished them - *Judges 6:1-6*

*(7)* Wrong Location 

Naomi suffered Great losses in Life for relocating to a Wrong Location - From Bethlehem Judah to Moab. She said I went out Full but the Lord brought me Empty - *Ruth 1:21*

*Restoration of losses is the Will of God for us.*

*Therefore, we must carefully examine the reason(s) for our losses and shut the door against losses.* 

Our Lord Jesus told us that in our Anchor Text above that whenever a woman with ten Pieces of Silver, looses one Silver, she would light a candle in order to find the lost Piece.

*Lighting a candle Stands for illumination - We need Light to Self Examine ourselves.* - *2 Corinthians 13:5*

*Prayer*

Father, Please open my eyes to know the reasons for my losses in Jesus Christ Name.
