*SOUND OF ABUNDANT RAIN EXPLAINED*

SCRIPTURE: Then I will give you Rain in its Season, the Land shall yield its Produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit - *Leviticus 26:4*

When Isreal repented from Idolatry and returned to God, Elijah slew four hundred and fifty Prophets of Baal.

Thereafter, he told Ahab the King of Isreal, to get up to eat and drink for he heard the Sound of Abundance of Rain - *1 Kings 18:41*

*We need to explain what he heard in the light of our Anchor Text above.*

*It is clear that Rain is a Gift from God.*

*Sound of abundance of rain means:*

*(1)* He heard God giving out Gifts to children - *James 1:17; Matthew 7:11*

*The Gifts could  either  be Physical or Spiritual.*

The Text says, the Land shall yield her Increase.

*(2)* Sound of Abundant  Rain means, he heard the Lord turning curses into Blessings, because  

when man fell, God cursed the Land - *Genesis 3:17*

Joshua cursed Jericho, but the curse turned to Blessing through Elisha after he got the Double Portion of the Spirit upon Elijah - *Joshua 6:26, 2 Kings 2:19-22*

The Lord also turned the curse upon Jabez into Blessing - *1 Chronicles 4:9-10*

In addition, the trees of the field shall bear fruits.

*(3)* Sound of Abundant  Rain means He heard the Lord re-pronouncing the Original Blessing.

When God created Man, Male and Female, He blessed them and said be Fruitful and Multiply and Replenish the Earth and Subdue it - *Genesis 1:28*

*In light of these, we need to know what to do to translate the Sound into reality.* 

*(1)* We must believe what we heard - *Mark 9:23, 2 Chronicles 20:20*

*(2)* We must Pray - *Luke 3:21; Luke 18:1, 1 King 18:42*

*In every area of your Life, you will hear the Sound of Abundant  Rain and see its Manifestations.*

*Prayer:*

Father, let the Sound of Abundant Rain, replace the Sound of Drought and let me experience its Manifestation in Jesus Christ Name.
