*STOP YOUR CONVERSATION WITH THE SERPENT*

SCRIPTURE: Now the Serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the Garden? - *Genesis 3:1*

*The crisis in the world today began with Eve's conversation with the Serpent.*

The Bible says, the Serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field. 

He initiated a conversation with Eve that eventually led her into eating the forbidden fruit. 

She gave also to Adam, her husband.

This brought a curse upon Man, the consequences of which we still face in the world today. 

Though you cannot keep birds from flying over you, but you can keep them from building a Nest  in your hair. 

*The evil would have been avoided if Eve had not entertained the conversation.*

*How do you know you are conversing with the Serpent?*

*(1)* Whenever a Voice within you is questioning the validity of the Word of God.

*(2)* Whenever a Voice  says, what God said is not true. 

The Serpent said to the woman, Ye shall not surely die - *Genesis 3:4*

*(3)* When there is a Prompting to do contrary to what God has commanded.

The woman saw that the tree was Good food - *Genesis 3:6*

*How do we stop the conversation?*

*(1)* Rebuke the Serpent in the Name of the Lord. 

The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan - *Zechariah 3:2*

*(2)* Command the Serpent to get behind you.

Get thee behind me, Satan - *Mark. 8:33; Luke 4:8*

*(3)* Confess the Word repeatedly - *Romans 10:10*

*(4)* Obey the Word - *John 2:5, Deuteronomy 28:1*

*(5)* Eagerly expect the Blessings - *Acts 3:5*

*It is not a sin to be tempted but yielding to temptation is sinful.*

*Prayer:*

Father, Please give me Grace to always stop every conversation with the devil in Jesus Christ Name.
