SCRIPTURE: These things have I spoken unto you, that my Joy might remain in you, and that your Joy might be full - *John 15:11*

Inspite of very many daunting challenges we face in this Present world, we must let the Joy of the Lord remain in us. 

As our Bible Text above teaches, the joy of the Lord can easily go out in challenging situations, but we must guard against it.

*Why must we allow His joy to remain?*

The Bible says, the Joy of the Lord is my Strength - *Nehemiah 8:10*

Allowing His Joy to leave, will weaken us and when we are weakened we will not be able to resist the devil. When we are unable to resist him, he will not flee from us - *James 4:7*

*What do we do to cause His Joy to remain?*

According to our anchor Text, Jesus said these things I have spoken unto you that my Joy will remain.

Therefore, for His Joy to remain, we must listen to Him. 

Jeremiah said His Words were found and I did eat them, thy Word was unto me the Joy and rejoicing of my heart - *Jeremiah 15:16*

Giving attendance to His Word is important to retaining His Joy in us.

*Prayer:*

Father, Please empower me to continually give attendance to Your Word in Jesus Christ Name.
