      *MY HIDING PLACE*

SCRIPTURE: You are my Hiding Place; You shall Preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with Songs of Deliverance. Selah - *Psalms 32:7*

Satan with a great wrath walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. 

*To be Preserved from attacks and not be a Prey to the devil, one needs a Hiding Place.*

*1. One can make a Man his Hiding Place.*

When Sisera was running away from Barak, he went and hid himself in the house of Jael, while he was sleeping. Jael's wife killed him and Jael invited Barak to see Sisera's dead body. 

How unreliable and deadly man can be as a Hiding Place - *Judges 4:18-22*

*2. Men also make idols their Hiding Places.*

But the Bible says their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god - *Psalms 16:4*

In our Anchor Bible Text above, the Psalmist said the Lord is my Hiding Place. 

*When the Lord is your Hiding Place, what happens:*

*(1)* His Shadow shall Provide a Cover for you - *Psalms 91:1-2*

*(2)* His Name shall be a Tower of Safety - *Psalms 18:10*

*(3)* His Blood shall make a Mark on you Internally, Externally and Eternally - *Galatians 6:17*

*(4)* His Word will arm you with an Invisible Sword - *Ephesians 6:17*

*(5)* His Angels will keep you in all your Ways - *Psalms 91:11*

*What are the benefits?*

They are too numerous to be mentioned, some of which include:

*(1)* He will keep you as the Apple of His Eyes - *Deuteronomy 32:10*

*(2)* He will build an hedge round about you and all that is yours - *Job 1:10*

*(3)* No Weapon formed against you shall Prosper - *Isaiah 54:17*

*Wherever your name is mentioned for evil, the fire of God will answer.*

*(4)* You will become a Defended City - *Jeremiah 1:18*

Arrows that fly by day and the terror by night will not Prevail - *Psalms 91:7*

*(5) )* Traps set for you will backfire - *Ecclesiastes 10:8*

*What do you do to make Him your Dwelling Place?*

*(1)* Hatred for sin - *Psalms 37:5*

*(2)* Love for Righteousness - *Hebrews 1:9*

*(3)* Be Obedient - *John 15:14*

*(4)* Be under Authority - *Psalms 91:1-2*

*(5)* Restrained  Companionshìp with the fools - *Proverbs 13:20*

*God is the Surest and Safest Hiding Place in this wicked world.*

*Prayer:* 

Father, You are my Hiding Place, Preserve my family and I from Violent Attacks in Jesus Christ Name.
