*INGREDIENTS OF ACCEPTABLE GRATITUDE*

SCRIPTURE: This People draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; But their heart is far from me - *Matthew 15:8*

It is a Good thing to give Thanks to God - *Psalms 92:1*

*This means that it is evil to be Ungrateful and this evil is Prevalent in our Generation.*

Consequently, many are cut off from their Destinies. 

*In this study, we shall take a cursory look at the Ingredients of Acceptable Gratitude with a view to fulfilling our Destinies.*

The Story of the ten lepers who cried to Jesus for Mercy highlights key issues on Gratitude - *Luke 17:11-19*

*Ten of them were Cleansed but only the Samaritan returned to give Thanks. His Gratitude opened a number of Blessings to him such as:*

*(1)* Relationship with Christ Jesus.

It was Gratitude that brought him close to Jesus. Ingratitude took the other nine away from Christ - *Psalms 100:4*

*(2)* His real Identity was unveiled.

It was when he gave Thanks that the Bible says, but he was a Samaritan. Nobody knew who he was until he offered Gratitude to God.

*Ingratitude conceals our Identity in Christ Jesus.*

*(3)* He was commanded to arise. 

This is a command to move to a Higher Level in Life. 

*Gratitude empowers a man to Change levels.*

*(4)* Guarantees fulfillment of Destiny. 

Jesus said to him, 'go thy way.'

*(5)* The Grateful will end Well and Strong.

*With the aforementioned blessings, it is important to Study the Ingredients of Acceptable Gratitude.*

*Not all Gratitude is Acceptable.* 

Subsequent Studies, will open our eyes to see what we need to do to make our Gratitude effective.

*Prayer:*

Father, Please let my Gratitude not be in vain in Jesus Christ Name.
