SCRIPTURE: Then Nathan departed to his house. And the Lord struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it became ill - *2 Samuel 12:15*

David committed adultery with the wife of Uriah, and she conceived. She told David, and in order for him to cover his sin, David arranged and killed her husband, Uriah.

After the death of Uriah, David brought Bathsheba to his house and she became his wife and delivered a baby - *2 Samuel 11:27*

Thereafter, God sent Nathan the Prophet, to expose David's sin and Pronounce a Judgement on him.

In our Anchor Text, the Bible says after Nathan the Prophet departed to his house  the Lord struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David.

*It is interesting that the Lord referred to Bathsheba as the wife of Uriah even after the death of Uriah and her marriage to David.* 

*This tells us that the Marriage between David and Bathsheba was recognised in the world but not recognised in Heaven.* 

This is confirmed later in the New Testament when there was a run down of the Genealogy of our Lord Jesus Christ and the name of Solomon the son of David and Bathsheba was mentioned. 

Bathsheba was still addressed as the wife of Uriah - *Matthew 1:6*

*God's ways are not our ways. There are Marriages we recognise as men, but not recognised in Heaven.*

*If the Marriage between David, a man after God's own heart to Bathsheba was never recognised by Heaven, who told you that Marriage that is contracted contrary to the Will of God will be recognised in Heaven?*

*There is always a room for restitution whenever we are in a relationship that is not recognised in Heaven.*

*Prayer:* 

Father, Please give me Grace to restitute every Relationship not recognised in Heaven in Jesus Christ Name.
