*THE VALUE OF MERCY*

SCRIPTURE: Thou shalt arise, and have Mercy upon Zion: For the time to Favour her, yea, the Set Time, is come - *Psalms 102:13*

The Bible says when the Lord would have healed Israel, then was the iniquity of Ephraim discovered and the wickedness of Samaria - *Hosea 7:1*

*In God's Master Plan, the time to heal Israel as a Nation came but the Lord remembered the iniquity of Ephraim and the wickedness of Samaria, therefore Israel lost her Set Time for healing.*

*Whenever Mercy is absent, Set Time for favour is wasted.*

In our Text above, the Bible says thou shall arise and have Mercy upon Zion, for the time to favour here, yea, the Set Time, is come.

*The counsel of God Stands on the Platform of Mercy.* 

This Prompted blind Bartimeus to cry aloud for Mercy and Jesus stood still for him - *Mark. 10:46-49*

*Whenever God remembers Mercy, Heaven Stands still.*

Mercy is so Valuable to man that the Psalmist said surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my Life - *Psalms 23:6*

This is the Mercy of God that is renewed daily - *Lamemtation 3:22-23*

The importance of Mercy therefore demands that we should confess our sins and forsake them - *Proverbs 28:13*

*We cannot continue in our sins and expect God to always arise on our behalf and have Mercy.*

*Prayer:*

Father, Please don't let me waste my Set Time for Favour by continuing in my sin in Jesus Christ Name.
