*THE GLORY OF THE LATTER HOUSE*

SCRIPTURE: The Glory of this latter house shall be Greater than of the former, saith the LORD of Hosts: and in this Place will I give Peace, saith the LORD of Hosts - *Haggai 2:9*

The Magnificent Temple built by King Solomon was destroyed by an Army and the Jews were taken captive.

*HAPPY NEW MONTH OF DECEMBER 2025*

Those who returned from Captivity rebuilt the Temple.

While the rebuilding was being done, the Younger ones were singing and dancing, but the older ones who saw the Temple in its former Glory wept - *Ezra 3*

It was at this time that God spoke to the children of Israel through Haggai the Prophet saying, "how many of you saw the Temple in its former Glory and reckon that what you have now is nothing in comparison." 

*Then God said the Glory of the latter shall be Greater than the former.*

*What does this mean?*

*It is God saying:*

*(1)* I have not finished with you.

*Your Present situation is not your Final Destination. Men may write you off but don't yourself off*- *Philippians 1:6, Romans 8:18, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10*

*(2)* By the time I finish with you:

*(a)* The best of your Past will be the least of your Future.

*(b)* You would not have seen it like this before.

When the Paralytic man was raised, the People were amazed and Glorified God and said they had not seen it like this before - *Mark. 2:12*

*(c)* The latter End shall be more blessed than before - *Job 42:12*

*What were they to do?*

*(1)* They should stop weeping about their Past and the adverse situations they experienced. 

The past is Passed - *Isaiah 43:18-19, Philippians 3:13*

*(2)* They should keep celebrating God who has not Changed. He will not Change and cannot Change - *Hebrews 13:8, Malachi 3:6*

But He can Change Times and Seasons - *Daniel 2:21*

*(3)* Go forward because your Destiny is ahead and not behind. 

Go forward in Prayers, in Faith, in Diligence, in Faithfulness, in Love and in Sacrifices etc - *Exodus 14:15, 1 Corinthians 15:58, Phiilipians 3:14, Hebrews 10:38, Genesis 19:26*

*(4)* Be on God's Waiting List and you will not be wasted - *Job 14:14, Psalms 40:1-3, Psalms 37:9b*

(5) Be joyyful 

The Bible says the Redeemed of the Lord shall return and come with singing unto Zion - *Psalms 51:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:16; Psalms 100:2 Nehemiah 8:10*


*Prayer:*

Father, let the Glory of my Latter house, be exceedingly far Greater than the Former in Jesus Christ Name.
