*DON’T TRAVEL ALONE - Part 1*

*By Pastor E O Gabriel  10 January 2026: Share*

SCRIPTURE: And he said unto him, If thy Presence go not with me, carry us not up hence - *Exodus 33:15 (KJV)*

*In the Journey of Life, it is extremely dangerous to travel alone.*

Moses, while leading the children of Israel, said to God, If thy Presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.

Why was Moses so insistent that God must go with them?

*Reasons Moses insisted on God’s Presence:*

*(1) )* He knew they did not arrive where they were by their own Power, but by the help of God.

*(2)* The Red Sea had already Parted for them, but the River Jordan was still ahead.

*(3)* He knew there were serpents and dangers along the way.

*(4)* He knew that only God could make a way in the Wilderness and Rivers in the desert - *Isaiah 43:19*

*(5)* He knew that with God, they would neither hunger nor thirst.

*(6)* He knew that with God, their clothes and shoes would not wear out - *Deuteronomy 29:5*

*(7)* He knew that with God, they would defeat all their Enemies.

*(8)* He knew that every good thing God had spoken would not fail - *Joshua 21:45*

*(9)* He knew that with God, the good work He had begun would be Perfected - *Philippians 1:6*

*(10)* He knew that with God, they would enjoy rest on every side - *Exodus 33:14*

*Moses understood that Progress without God’s Presence is dangerous, but Progress with God guarantees Protection, Provision, Victory, and Rest.*

*Prayer*

Father, Please do not leave me alone in the Journey of Life. Let Your Presence go with me always in Jesus Christ Name.
