*DON’T TRAVEL ALONE - Part 2*
*By Pastor E O Gabriel 11 January 2026: Share*
SCRIPTURE: For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward - *Isaiah 52:12 (KJV)*
Moses, in our Previous Study, understood that Progress without God’s Presence is dangerous. He therefore insisted that God must go with him.
*What happens when God travels with a man?*
*(1)* He goes before him - *Isaiah 52:12; Isaiah 45:2*
This was demonstrated when the children of Israel came out of Egypt. The Lord went before them as a Pillar of Cloud by Day and a Pillar of Fire by Night - *Exodus 13:21*
*(2)* He will be with him.
One of His names is Emmanuel, meaning God with us - *Matthew 1:23*
He told Joshua, As I was with Moses, so I will be with thee - *Joshua 1:5*
*(3)* He will be his Reward - *Isaiah 52:12*
This means He will Protect him from behind.
The Egyptian Army that Pursued the Israelites could not overtake them because God was their Reward.
The Bible says the Angel of God went behind the children of Israel - *Exodus 14:19*
*(4)* He will be his Shade - *Psalm 121:5*
This means He will Protect him from Above, so that the Sun will not smite him by Day nor the Moon by Night - *Psalm 121:6*
*(5)* He will also Protect him from beneath.
The Bible says, Underneath are the Everlasting Arms - *Deuteronomy 33:27*
This Protection from beneath enabled Peter to walk on water. The force of gravity could not affect him because the Everlasting Arms were between his feet and the water.
*From the above, the best thing that can happen to a man is to enjoy the continual Presence of God.*
*Prayer*
Father, Please travel with me for the rest of my Life and let Your Presence never depart from me in Jesus Christ Name.
