*LIVE YOUR LIFE FORWARD*

SCRIPTURE:‭‭Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I  do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead - *Philippians‬ ‭3:13‬*

*Life is meant to be lived forward and not backwards. Hence, our eyes are in front and not behind.*

The Bible says Isaac went forward - *Genesis 26:13*

Again, it is written, "Remember ye not the former things neither consider the things of old - *Isaiah 43:18*

In spite of challenges, when it seemed going forward was impossible because of the Red Sea, God still commanded the children of Israel to go forward - *Exodus 14:15*

In our Anchor Bible Text, Apostle Paul said this one thing I do, forgetting things which are behind and reaching forth to things which are before.

*Why must we live forward?*

*(1)* Living backwards is a waste of Life - *Genesis 19:26*

*(2)* Living forward attracts God's Pleasure while living backwards attracts God's Displeasure - *Hebrews 10:38*

*(3)* No one is rich enough to buy back his Past.

*(4)* Today's best is far below God's best for us - *Philippians 3:13*

*(5)* Our Destiny is ahead and not behind - *1 Corinthians 2:9*

*(6)* Opportunities are Maximised. 

*(7)* New Grounds are broken - *Isaiah 43:19*

*(8)*  Living becomes highly exciting.

*How do we live forward?*

*(1)* Thank God for the Blessings and the Lessons of the Past - *1 Thessalonians 5:18*

*(2)* Break away from those who lived in the Past - *Genesis 12:1-2*

*(3)* Lift up your eyes and go after what you see - *Genesis 13:14*

*(4)* Redeem the Time - *Ephesians 5:16*

*(5)* Remain hooked to God for Acceleration - *1 Kings 18:46*

*Great opportunities come with a New Year, and may we Maximise them - Amen!*

*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to live forward so that this New Year will be the best ever for me in Jesus Christ mighty name
