         *NEW CRUSE Part 2*

SCRIPTURE: And he said, Bring me a New Cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him - *2 Kings‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬*

As discussed yesterday, the City of Jericho had a New Beginning when God stepped in, and the men of the City brought a New Cruse with salt therein.

The New Cruse must not be empty. It must contain salt.

*Why the need for the salt?*

The Chemical name for salt is Sodium Chloride.

Therefore, salt is a Product of Chemical reactions between Sodium and Chlorine.

*When Elisha asked them to put salt in the Cruse, he was expecting them to Present themselves as a Product of  Spiritual reaction with Christ.*

*He was asking them to be transformed men for a New Beginning* - *2 Corinthians 5:17; Matthew 5:13*

*Salt has two Principal Uses:*

*1)* Seasoning.

• We are to bring the best out of People in the world. 

*Salt does not condemn, but  Seasons.*

• A Judgmental Attitude should be Strange to a Believer.

*2)* Preservation 

• We must be People who Preserve the Truth, which is the Word of God rather than Compromising it. 

*This will Provoke a New Beginning.*

*A New Cruse without salt can't Provoke a New Beginning.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please let me be the salt of the Earth in Jesus Christ mighty name.
