SCRIPTURE: And he said, Bring me a New Cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him - *2 Kings‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬*

The City of Jericho was under a Curse, which was Pronounced by Joshua - *Joshua 6:26*

Therefore, evil happenings were Prevalent, such as Untimely Death  Miscarriages and Fruitflessness. 

The men of the City cried out to Elisha against the evils of the Land, and God gave them a New Beginning. 

*What is a New Beginning?*

• It is a Change from the Old to the New.

• It is a break from the Past - *Isaiah 43:18-19*

*Jericho had a New Beginning when the Lord Changed the Curse into Blessings.*

*There are two major triggers of New Beginnings.*

• First, God must Step in. 

Whenever God is involved, a New Beginning is Provoked - *2 Kings 2:21*

• Secondly, when the Lord steps in, the People must begin something New. 

Elisha told the People to bring a New Cruse. 

*Old ways will yield Old result, but New ways will birth New Beginnings.*

*No year is truly New until something New begins.*

Father, Please give my family a New Beginning of Joy in Jesus Christ mighty name.
