*FLOURISH LIKE THE PALM TREE*

SCRIPTURE: The Righteous shall flourish like the Palm tree: He shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon - *Psalms 92:12*

*Flourishing is our Heritage in Christ Jesus.*

Our flourishing is likened to the Palm tree.

*What are the Peculiarities of a Palm tree?*

*(1)* It is an all Season tree, hence its leaves are ever green, its leaves don't wither - *Psalms 1:1-3*

*(2)* Storms can trouble them but can't break them. 

*They are made of fibre and are elastic* - *2 Corinthians 4:8-9; Proverbs 24:16; Psalms 34:19-20*

*(3)* They are resistant to harsh Weather. 

*They do well in dry Seasons, and difficult times, because the leaves shade the trunk thereby Preventing loss of water by Evaporation.* 

Hence, they are heat and drought resistant - *Genesis 26:1,2,13,14; 2 Samuel 3:1; Exodus 1:12*

*(4)* They are Versatile. 

*They can Produce oil, lumber, woven materials, drinks etc* - *2 Samuel 23:1; Acts 21:8-9*

*(5)* They blossom till old age - *Psalms 92:14; Deuteronomy 34:7-9; Genesis 41:46; Genesis 50:26*


*Prayer:* 

Father, Please empower me to flourish like the Palm tree in Jesus Christ Name.
