SCRIPTURE: And the Lord said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand - *Exodus 4:4 KJV*
When Moses had an encounter with God, the Lord asked him what he was holding, and he answered that it was a rod.
God instructed him to drop the rod on the Ground.
When he did, it became a serpent.
Moses fled from it, but God asked him to hold the serpent by the tail.
He obeyed God and the serpent turned back into a rod.
*There are several Lessons to learn from the instruction of God to Moses to hold the serpent by the tail:*
*1)* God is Love.and He will do not evil - *1 John 4:8*
*2)* His Commandments are not grievous - *1 John 5:3.*
*3)* When a Man's ways Please the Lord, He makes even his Enemies to be at Peace with him - *Proverbs 16:7*
*4)* No evil happens to a Man without God's Permission - *Job 1:5–8*
*5)* The serpent turned into a rod and became the rod of God - *Exodus 4:20.*
It later performed many Wonders.
*6)* His Obedience resulted in Wonders.
*7)* Disobedience to God is grievous - *Deuteronomy 28:15.*
*If Moses had refused to hold the serpent by the tail, it would have remained a serpent and a source of dread to him.*
*From the above, we learn that obeying God even in the most terrifying situations is highly rewarding.*
*Prayer*
Father Please give me Grace to obey You even in difficult situations in Jesus Christ Name.
