*SPIRIT FILLED SLOTHFUL CHRISTIAN?*

SCRIPTURE: Not Slothful in Business; fervent in Spirit; serving the Lord - *Romans 12:11*

Is it Possible to have a Spirit filled, Slothful Christian?

The answer is No.

God is a Spirit: and they that Worship Him must Worship in Spirit and in Truth - *John 4:24*

*Slothfulness does not reflect the Character of our God, and therefore, one can not be Slothful in Kingdom Business and be in Spirit.*

Our Bible Text says we must put away  Slothfulness in Business in order to be fervent in Spirit, serving the Lord.

*What is Slothfulness?*

*Slothfulness is taken from the name of an animal called Sloth with the following features:*

• Their Mobility rate is about 120ft Per day.

• They spend about 15 to 20 hours daily Sleeping.

• They have an Exceptionally Low Metabolic rate.

*Summarily, Sloths are Sluggish and very inactive most of the time.*

*Therefore, the Slothful are known for Slowness, Sluggishness, Inactivity, and Reluctance to work.*

*The common Synonyms of Slothfulness include: Laziness, Sluggishness, Idleness, etc.*

*Why should we Be Fervent and Diligent in Spirit?*

*(1)* Slothfulness does not reflect the Character of our God - *John 5:17 2 Peter 3:9*

*(2)* Kingdom Business requires haste, not Slothfulnes - *1 Samuel 21:8*

*(3)* Slothfulness is a sin.

Sins can be classified into two: "Sin of Commission" and 

"sin of Omission" - *James 4:17*

*Slothfulness is a s

"Sin of Omission" - *Proverbs 19:24*

*(4)* Slothfulness reduces your Efficiencies and handicaps you from doing your best - *1 Peter 4:11, Ecclesiastes 10:18*

*(5)* Slothfulness leads to a waste of Time and Resources -

*Proverbs 18:9*

(6) Slothfulnes leads to lack of Fervency in the Spirit . 

(7) The Slothful makes Excuses - *Proverbs 26:13*

*(8)* Slothfulness leads to an Unfulfilled Destiny - *Proverbs 13:4*

• God told Joshua thou art old and stricken in years and there remaineth yet very much land to be Possessed - *Joshua 13:1*

*(9)* Slothfulness makes one's Labour Unacceptable to God - *Romans 12:11*

(10) The Slothful can't end Well - *Revelation 20:15*

Father, Please let all Slothfulness ends in my Life in Jesus Christ Name.
