*JOSHUA AND CALEB: LIFE'S COMMON LESSONS*

SCRIPTURE: “Now these things were our Examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted" - *1 Corinthians 10:6 KJV*

*The Generation of the children of Israel that left Egypt Perished in the Wilderness except for Joshua and Caleb, who eventually made it into the Promised Land.*

*Their lives teach us several Valuable Lessons, some of which include:*

*(1)* It is Possible to Succeed where the Majority has failed - *Job 22:29*

Joshua and Caleb Succeeded where about two Million others did not.

*(2)* It Pays to do the Right Thing, even when everyone else does the Opposite - *Galatians 6:7; Numbers 32:12*

Joshua and Caleb wholly followed the Lord.

*(3)* Our lives follow the direction of our words - *Numbers 14:6–9*

*You cannot enter the Palace speaking like a Servant.*

Joshua and Caleb spoke like Victorsand they were Victorious.

*(4)* You cannot embrace an evil report and end well - *Numbers 13*

The Majority embraced the Negative Report of the ten Spies and died in the Wilderness.

*(5)* The Decisions we make today determine the Outcome of our lives tomorrow.

*(6)* Quitters will not win, and Winners must not quit - *Luke 9:62*

*(7)* The Promises of God that you hear or read, you can see, and Partake of - *2 Kings 7:1–16*

*(8)* It is Possible to live long enough to Witness a New Generation - *Psalm 91:16*

*(9)* He who Controls his mouth will control his Destiny.

*(10)* A Good friend can lead you to a Good Ending - *Proverbs 13:20*

*Joshua and Caleb Stand as Examples of Faith, Endurance, and Righteous Living in the midst of Unbelief and Failure.*

Their lives are a Pattern for Victorious Living.

Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Please empower me to follow Good Examples.
