*BEYOND EXPECTATIONS*

*By Pastor E O Gabriel  30 October 2026: Share*

SCRIPTURE: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us -  *Ephesians 3:20 KJV*

*Whenever a man walks with God, his expectations will be exceeded because of who God is.*

*Let us take a look at some of His Characteristics that enable Him to go beyond our Expectations.*

*1)* He is a Generous God who does not know how to bless moderately. He blesses lavishly - *John 10:10; Psalm 23:5; Philippians 4:19*

*2)* He has a track record of exceeding Expectations.

Hannah asked for a man child - *1 Samuel 1:11*

She had three sons and two daughters - *1 Samuel 2:21*

*3)* His thoughts for us are higher than our own thoughts - *Jeremiah 29:11; Isaiah 55:8–9*

*4)* His Limitless Power can exceed our Expectations - *Psalm 62:11; Jeremiah 32:27*

*5)* He has resources sufficient to exceed our Expectations - *Genesis 17:1; Psalm 24:1*

*6)* He will exceed our Expectations to fulfil His Promises to us.

He went beyond Joseph's Expectations to fulfil His Promise to Abraham - *Genesis 15:13*

*7)* He will go beyond our Expectations to Glorify His Name.

Our Anchor Bible Text says He will go beyond our Expectations through the Power that is at work in us.

This is the Power of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible says, “Ye shall receive Power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you” - *Acts 1:8*

 *Prayer*

Father in the Name of Jesus, Please go beyond my Expectations to Glorify Your Name in Jesus Christ Name.
