*MOCKERS ARE NOT MAKERS*

*By Pastor E O Gabriel  5 November 2026: Share

SCRIPTURE: And the sons of the Prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy Master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your Peace - *2 Kings 2:3 KJV*

One of the ways to go far and fast in Life is to ignore the Mockers and focus on where you are going.

This was one of the secrets that enabled Elijah to end Gloriously in Life.

He ignored the mocking of the fifty sons of the Prophets at Bethel.

*Let us discuss the real reasons you must ignore the Mockers:*

*1)* *They are limited in vision.*

They can only see today; they cannot see your tomorrow.

What they can see is Temporal and not as important as what they cannot see - *2 Corinthians 4:18*

*2)* *They have limited Knowledge.*

Unknown to them, you are a work in Progress in God's Workshop. He has not finished with you - *Philippians 1:6*

*3)* *They lack the Understanding that what they see is God's raw material for your Testimony of Glory* - *John 9:1–7*

*4)* *They do not have your times in their hands because they are not your Maker.*

*5)* *They are not only mocking you; they are also reproaching God, who is your Maker* - *Proverbs 17:5*

*6)* *They are men whose words are subject to Change.*

They can shout “Hosanna” today and shout “Crucify Him” tomorrow.

*7)* *Their Primary Assignment is to distract you and occupy the driver's seat of your Life.*

Hence, you must ignore them.

*Stay focused on your journey in Life and do not depart from the Lord. Your Mockers will bow to you.*

 *Prayer*

Father in the Name of Jesus, Please help me to stay on until my Mockers bow to me in Jesus Christ Name.
