*HE KEEPS PROMISES*

SCRIPTURE: Let us hold fast the Profession of our Faith without wavering; (for he is Faithful that Promised;) - *Hebrews 10:23*


Promises are meant to be kept and not meant to be broken. 


*God keeps Promises.* 


*He keeps Promises for various reasons, some of which are:*


*(1)* He is Faithful. 


*He is true to His Words.*


He means what He says, and says what He means - *Hebrews 10:23; Psalms 33:4*


*(2)* He has the Resources to keep His Promises. 


He does not need help to keep His Promises - *Psalms 24:1; Haggai 2:8*


*(3)* He knows all things and no unforseen circumstances can arise - *Psalms 139:4; 1 John 3:20; Isaiah 46:10*


*(4)* He is Unchanging, His Words are Constant - *Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8*


*(5)* No one can stop Him - *Isaiah 14:27; Daniel 4:35*


*God keeps Promises for the above reasons, we need to know one or two things about His Promises:*


*(1)* His Promises are Conditional - *Job 22-25*


*(2)* His Promises are Generational.


*(3)* His Promises are for the Appointed Time - *Genesis 18:14* 


*(4)* His Promises are for all. 


Whatever He says to one, He says to all - *Acts 10:34-35*


*(5)* His Promises are withdrawable - *1 Samuel 2:30*


*(6)* His Promises are either General or Specific - *Deuteronomy 28:1,13, Genesis 49:10* 


*The Scepter shall not depart from Judah.*


*(7)* His Promises are enforceable - *Luke 1:45*


*How to Turn Promises to Performance*


*(1)* He is Faithful so that we can have  Faith in Him - *Mark 11:22*


Have Faith in His Promises - *Luke 1:45*


*(2)* Stay away from sin - *Hosea 7:1, Job 22:23*


*(3)* Search out the conditions and do them - *Genesis 22:15-17*


*(4)* Wait Patiently for the Appointed Time. *Hebrews 10:36*


*(5)* While Waiting, travail in the Place of Prayer - *1 Kings 18: 41-44*


Because there can be a Delay. But, Delay is not denial - *Daniel 10:13; Exodus 12:40, Exodus 15:13*


*Prayer:*

Father, let there be a Performance of Your Promise in my Life without any Delay.
