*QUIT THE HYPOCRISY.*

                                 

Raising healthy children is a full-time job. It affected every aspect of our children's lives. From the spiritual to the physical, morals, character development, and even academic development, there is something for everyone. Every parent wishes for their child to flourish academically. It makes the heart happy. This should not, however, come at the expense of character and moral growth.

 

There is a trend in which schools that previously prohibited children from using phones suddenly begin to require parents to purchase phones for their children a few weeks before their final examination.

 

Then you'll hear parents respond, "Well, what do we do? It's the norm." That's how it's always been done. Simply give Ceaser what belongs to Ceaser. Thus, parents enable the wrongdoing. Nonetheless, we are clamoring for national transformation.

 

To what end, you ask? We all want good government, well-behaved leaders, and men of integrity to rule the land, but we seem to have lost the link between leadership and the children we raise.

 

Those we term corrupt now were raised in a particular household. They learned their manners at home, and, as Praise Fowowe always says, the home is the production factory of society. The leaders we have come from our manufacturing plant. This includes the school administration as well as the teachers.

 

How can we expect students to study hard again when they know they will pass whether they study or not?

We have indirectly taught children that they can earn without effort, and then we wonder why all the resources meant for all are in the hands of one.

 

It's amazing how the same people who criticize the conduct are also the enablers of these things. Righteousness exalts a nation, while wickedness is a disgrace to any man.

 

You have a role to play, parents. Stop being so hypocritical. Stop enabling what is wrong.
