*SPEAK THE WORD ONLY*

SCRIPTURE: The Centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a Word, and my Servant will be healed - *Matthew 8:8*


When our Lord Jesus entered Capernamum, a Centurion came and said to Him 'my servant is sick of Palsy at home.' Jesus answered, 'I will come and heal him.' The Centurion said again, 'I am not worthy to have you under my roof, just speak the Word only and my Servant will be healed' - *Matthew 8:5-8*


*There are several Lessons in this short story, but one Prominent Lesson is that the Word only can war and conquer sicknesses.*


The Bible says, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but Mighty through God to the Pulling down of Strong holds - *2 Corinthians 10:4*


The Word is a Great Spiritual Force that can dislodge sicknesses and diseases. 


He sent forth His Word and healed them and delivered them from all their destructions - *Psalms 107:20*


The Word is the Sword of the Spirit that no sickness can withstand - *Ephesians 6:17*


*The Word only can be relied upon to battle and conquer any sicknesses.*


*How do we send the Word?*


*(1)* The Word must Proceed from a Pure Heart - *Matthew 5:8*


*(2)* The Word must be the Right One - *Job 6:25*


*(3)* The Word must be Spoken and received in Faith - *Mark 9:23*


*(4)* The Word must be confessed repeatedly - *John 16:24*


*(5)* The Word must be enveloped with Gratitude - *Luke 17:11-19*


*The Word is Quick and Powerful and its efficacy is Sure.*


*Prayer:*

Father, by the Stripes of Jesus, I am Healed.
