*KEEP THE FIRE BURNING*

SCRIPTURE: And the Fire upon the Altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the Priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the Peace Offerings - *Leviticus 6:12*


*When the Lord kindles His Fire in your Life, it is your responsibility to keep it burning.*


When the fire was kindled at the Island of Melita, Apostle Paul gathered sticks and laid them in the fire to keep it burning - *Acts 28:1-3*


The Bible says, the fire on the Altar shall be burning, it shall not go out and the Priest shall burn wood on it every morning.


*The fire is kept burning only when wood is burnt on it daily and not weekly.*


*The wood mentioned here Stands for the Word of God.*


Hence, the Bible says man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that Proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord - *Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4*


The Word of God itself is Fire - *Jeremiah 5:14*


*Daily reading, Studying and Meditation on the Word is important to keep the fire burning and must be completed with Prayer, Particularly Praying in the Holy Ghost - *Acts 6:4, Jude 1: 20*


It is helpful to sing to oneself in Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual Songs - *Ephesians 5:18-19*


*Paying the Price of keeping the fire burning is a worthwhile Exercise in our walk with our God.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please give me Oil in my Lamp and keep me burning to the end of my race.
